I was taught the time had come
And a strangeness had begun
And everything that once was here
All at once will disappear

And canceled the meeting on thursday

You have to be sure that the dog is fed

And somewhere it has already begun
Even where I may go you could still walk in the sun
But then no one knew what it could be
But there were already signs and here and there you could see
It was not only in places that it appeared
There were times of day when it was clear
In the hours after the sun went down
Change had come and it was all around
If the truth be told we can not deny
That what we used to hide from now we welcome inside
And it was understood that best unconsciously
That something's unfold and something's happening
And only just now has it become
Too much to ignore that something has begun
The signs have been clear the time is here
And now a strangeness has appeared

And I lie in bed and I have to admit
I have a strong urge to turn around again
Outside where the night blends with the daylight
See things coming through and it concerns me too
