The Smiles

I grew up in some hand me down clothes,
how quickly i grew out of those.
My mother's as broke as it goes,
I'm not the wealthiest man, I suppose.

And I'm thinking that it just don't taste quite right,
ten bucks for a coca-cola seems pretty overpriced.
And I'm tired of my bedless nights,
but I'm trying to make it all right.

And so I'm

Spending money on cars,
Spending money on clothes,
Spending money on cereal,
Spending money on hoes.

So we take money from churches,
Taking money for crack,
We take money from charities,
and we won't give it back.

I'll admit I'm a good looking man,
with a stolen revolver in hand.
I'll hop in the get away van,
now my life working just as I planned.

And I'm thinking that my drink tastes just right,
with my rum & coca-cola and ladies on the side.
And I don't have no sleepless nights,
Cuz this improved life is all right.

Because I'm

Spending money on cars,
Spending money on clothes,
Spending money on cereal,
Spending money on hoes.

So we take money from churches,
Taking money for crack,
We take money from charities
and we won't give it back.

I won't throw it away,
my hard earned money
for you.

We won't give it back.
