it was dark at night
and I felt the need
to go step outside
just to feel the breeze

it was raining bad
I could see nothing
when I felt the sand
right under my feet

I knew that there was my place/ a place for me to stay
when I saw her standing there

she was there/ with her eyes staring at the sky
and I saw her eyes in the dark of the night

and she was gone
with the lighting bolt
that stroke abroad
her face disapeared right in time
for my tears to drop by
the sand
and I knew that this was the end of our times togheter

In the dark of the night
the last time
I cried in the rain

in another night
there i was again
just to feel the cold
and to see the rain

and to my surprise
there it was again
it was the same old spot
right under my feet

I prayed that she'd show up again/ not anymore
And that was the time that I cried in the rain

She wasn't there/ this time I stared at the sky
And I saw a star with the shape of her eyes

And it was gone
with the lighting bolt
that stroke abroad
her face disapeared right in time
of my tears to drop by
the sand
and I knew that this was the end of our times.
