O mais novo single de Lil Nas X acaba de sair e foi feito para a trilha sonora de "Um Tira da Pesada: Axel F", que estreia quarta-feira que vem na Netflix. Se, a primeira vista, "HERE WE GO!" pode parecer somente uma canção feita para impulsionar o marketing do filme estrelado por Eddie Murphy, uma olhada no Instagram do artista indica que a história não é bem essa.
Ao anunciar a música, que ele de forma bem-humorada disse ser "a melhor de todos os tempos", Montero Lamar Hill, o seu nome verdadeiro, também se abriu no Instagram. A postagem indica que o astro andou refletindo sobre o seu trabalho e sua pessoa e que podemos esperar muitas coisas positivas dele no futuro.
"Estou muito animado para lançar a melhor música de todos os tempos nesta sexta-feira! Também me desculpo por ter estado tão assustado com a minha arte nos últimos tempos. Estou voltando a mim mesmo novamente. Vou deixar vocês muito orgulhosos", diz o texto.
A música também mostra o artista em modo reflexivo, especialmente quando diz, "Há um garoto dentro de mim e um dia ele irá para algum lugar onde ninguém jamais esteve".
Só não pensem que "HERE WE GO" é uma canção melancólica. Longe disso, o single é pop, dançante e inegavelmente nostálgico ao fazer uso do riff de teclado de "Axel F", verdadeiro sinônimo de música pop dos anos 80.
