Sem maiores surpresas, Taylor Swift lidera o número de nomeações, concorrendo em todas as categorias principais (exceto de "Melhor Artista Masculino" e "Artista Revelação"), assim como Ed Sheeran, que também só não aparece na categoria feminina de de novos cantores.

Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, Nick Jonas, Maroon 5 e The Weeknd também estão entre os indicados nas principais categorias.

O "AMA" 2015 ocorre em 22 de novembro, e terá Jennifer Lopez como anfitriã.
