Murilo Romano possui um estilo único e que é instantaneamente reconhecível e impressionante.
Quando ele toca, você sabe que é ele.

Músico, compositor, produtor e arranjador, Murilo cresceu com a música dos Beatles, Bread, Jimi Hendrix e Deep Purple.

No início da adolescência, Romano rapidamente tornou-se muito interessado em Jazz e Funk. Joe Pass, Pat Martino e Steely Dan foram algumas de suas influências. A partir desta mistura diversificada, seu próprio som começou a tomar forma.

Murilo começou a estudar guitarra aos 7 anos de idade.

Aos 15, já estava sendo reconhecido e tendo posição destacada em revistas especializadas em música, apontado como uma das revelações da guitarra no Brasil.
Com 18 anos começou a excursionar com vários artistas em diferentes estilos musicais. Isso foi muito importante para ganhar a experiência e o know-how para se tornar um grande e respeitado músico.

Murilo trabalha com os maiores e mais influentes músicos, artistas e produtores musicais de todo o mundo.

Com seu grupo - Mr. Zelion - lançou o álbum "Miracle" em 2012 (produzido por Murilo Romano e Paulo Russi) - que conta com vários amigos como convidados, como Tommy Barbarella, Randy Brecker, Ivan Busic, Jorge Casas, Bjorn Englen, Stuart Hamm, Scott Henderson, Vail Johnson, Tom Kennedy, Michael Leonhart, Yves Passarel, Karl Perazzo, Toussaint, entre outros, num total de 24 artistas em um mesmo Cd.
"Miracle" foi mixado e masterizado por John Cuniberti.

Em 2013, Murilo produziu o Cd "Sentimento", de Patricia Romania.
Gravado, mixado e masterizado em Nashville, Tn, Usa, o disco conta com um lineup impressionante: Brent Mason na guitarra, Murilo Romano nos violões, Talk Box, viola brasileira e backing vocals, Paul Franklin na steel guitar, Lonnie Wilson na bateria, Tony Harrell nos teclados, Glenn Worf no baixo e Andy Leftwich no violino, mando e banjo.
Co-produzido e mixado por Greg Droman, masterizado por Hank Williams.

Seu primeiro Cd solo foi lançado em setembro de 2014. Gravado ao vivo no estúdio, "Scream Of Freedom" é um Cd conceitual e que, para que a história contada pelas músicas instrumentais se tornasse mais clara para todos os tipos de ouvintes, foi toda desenhada (como uma história em quadrinhos) pelo cartunista Mario Mastrotti, também ao vivo, ao mesmo tempo em que as músicas estavam sendo gravadas. Os desenhos foram digitalizados e formam o encarte do Cd.
Para este trabalho, Murilo recrutou dois grandes amigos e que são grandes referências como músicos: os irmãos Andria Busic (baixo e backing vocal) e Ivan Busic (bateria), ambos da aclamada banda Dr. Sin, além da incrível voz de Patricia Romania na faixa-título do Cd (a única com vocais).
"Scream of Freedom" foi mixado por Átila Ardanuy e masterizado por John Cuniberti.

Seu álbum intitulado Both Sides of the Story (Side 1) mostra um lado diferente de sua música; um estilo introspectivo e acústico com melodias poderosas em uma experiência emocional intensa.
Murilo toca alguns riffs roqueiros, mas também passa por estilos como blues, country e pop.
Com este segundo álbum, Romano fez o que, em um sentido literal, pode ser chamado de um álbum solo, já que a gravação foi feita apenas por ele; nenhum convidado ou músicos de apoio e nenhum overdub.
Sem backing vocals, nenhum outro instrumento... apenas uma voz e um violão.
Este é realmente um trabalho de arte profundamente pessoal e emotivo.

Murilo Romano possesses an unique style that's instantly recognizable and striking.
When he plays, you know it's him.

Musician, composer, producer and arranger, Murilo was born and raised in Araraquara, Sp - Brasil.

He grew up with the music of The Beatles, Bread, Jimi Hendrix and Deep Purple.

In his early teens, Romano quickly became very interested in Jazz and Funk music. Joe Pass, Pat Martino and Steely Dan were some of his influences. From this diverse blend of music, his sound and path began to take shape.

Murilo starting playing guitar at age of 7.

At the age of 15, was already getting recognized, and has featured on music Brazilian magazines appointed as one of the up-coming guitarist in Brazil. At the age of 18 started touring with many artists in various styles. That was very important to gain the expertise and
know-how to become a great and respected musician.

Murilo usually works with the most influential and renowned musicians and producers around the world.

In 2013 Murilo produced an álbum for one of the greatest singer in Brazil - Patricia Romania. "Sentimento" was recorded in Nashville and have one of the most impressive lineup ever: Brent Mason on the electric guitar, Murilo Romano on the acoustic guitar, Talk Box, Brazilian viola and background vocals, Paul Franklin on the steel guitar, Lonnie Wilson on the drums, Tony Harrell on the keyboards, Glenn Worf on the bass, Andy Leftwich on the fiddle, mando and banjo. Co-produced and mixed by Greg Droman, mastered by Hank Williams.

His first solo Cd was released on September 2014. Recorded live in the studio . "Scream Of Freedom" is a conceptual Cd and, for the story told by the instrumental songs to become clearer to all kinds of listener, it was all draftee (as a comic book) by cartoonist Mario
Mastrotti also live at the same time that the songs were being recorded. The drawings were digitized and became the Cd booklet. For this work, Murilo recruited two great friends that are big references as musicians: brothers Andria Busic (bass and backing vocals) and Ivan Busic (drums), both from the acclaimed band Dr. Sin, besides the incredible voice of Patricia Romania on the title track of the Cd (the only one with vocals).

His new record is titled Both Sides of the Story (Side 1) and shows a different side to his music; an introspective and acoustic style with powerful melodies in an intense emotional experience. Murilo does kick out some riff-driven rockers, but he also detours into blues, country, and folk on occasion.
With this second album, Romano has made what in a literal sense can be called his first solo album, in that the recording features only his playing and singing; no guest or supporting musicians and no overdubs.
No harmonies, no other instrumentation... just a voice and an acoustic guitar.
This is truly a personal deeply moving work of art.
