As a woman I've been told I need to find

A man that's gonna help me settle down so

I've been looking all my life yeah, huh

I had a track, I met a guy, I let him

Be the boss, let him take control, let him

Do the most just like I was told

And I really woulda made a good wife, but

I went away and found a better route

Little queen with a big dream (with a big dream)

Thought I'd find a good life if I found good love

Everybody said I need a ring (you need a ring)

But I soon figured out that's a lie because

I don't need a man

I just need a mani pedi

And no matter what he gets me

My independence got me feeling sexy

I don't need a bad boy

I'm already a baddie

Can't believe you nearly had me

My independence got me feeling sexy

Feeling sexy yeah

As a man you've been told you've got to provide

But y'all never really know how to, no

You think it's all about the money, the price but

Don't need new shoes, no jimmy choos

'Cause I can pay my bills, I can cook all of my meals, I can

Buy my heels, I can dry my tears

Though a man in my life would've been nice, yeah

I got much better things to do

Little queen with a big dream (with a big dream)

Thought I'd find a good life if I found good love

Everybody said I need a ring (you need a ring)

But I soon figured out that's a lie because

I don't need a man

I just need a mani pedi

And no matter what he gets me

My independence got me feeling sexy

I don't need a bad boy

I'm already a baddie

Can't believe you nearly had me

My independence got me feeling sexy

Feeling sexy yeah

Girls if you're listening, know that you're better with

A real good group of good friends

Go get your hair did, go get your career

Baby that's your independence

I don't need a man

I just need a mani pedi

And no matter what he gets me

My independence got me feeling sexy

I don't need a bad boy

I'm already a baddie

Can't believe you nearly had me

My independence got me feeling sexy

Feeling sexy yeah

Girls if you're listening, know that you're better with

A real good group of good friends

Go get your hair did, go get your career

Baby that's your independence

Girls if you're listening, know that you're better with
