Disagree

Portals

The smartest thing anyone can say is we don't know anything
We're learnin' more every day 'bout infinity
How we let hate divide our hearts unknowingly?
It's driven into our minds invisibly and

You don't have to be wrong for me to be right
We can disagree completely and we'll be just fine
We can think different things at the same time
Every belief seeks the same light
And you don't have to be wrong for me to be right
There's more than two sides to this life
There's more than two sides to this life

I wonder if we'll survive the wave of this insanity
Our leaders keep telling lies, we don't do anything
Now would we keep bombs if we really wanted peace
If we could just get along then we'd be free but

You don't have to be wrong for me to be right
We can disagree completely and we'll be just fine
We can think different things at the same time
Every belief seeks the same light
And you don't have to be wrong for me to be right
There's more than two sides to this life
There's more than two sides to this life

Of course, this doesn't include racism
Sexism, hateful words, oppressive views
Or child abuse, or treating women poorly
I know I'm not perfect but if I keep
Working on myself then I can help us all
'Cause on this ball we're just a billion pieces
Of a story, that's still unfolding

You don't have to be wrong for me to be right
We can disagree completely and we'll be just fine
We can think different things at the same time
Every belief seeks the same light
And you don't have to be wrong for me to be right
There's more than two sides to this life
There's more than two sides to this life
