Ormada em 2010 e com um nome nada abstrato, a Janete Saiu Para beber, é uma
banda pernambucana que traz uma mistura entre suas raízes regionais e o bom e
velho punk-rock.

Suas letras hora fazem referência a conflitos sociais e pessoais, ao
ponto onde um se choca com o outro; E Outra hora ressalta a cena cultural vivida
pelos integrantes, o que traz uma fácil identificação com o público.

A banda passou alguns anos em hiato, e retomou suas atividades em 2019. Em 2021
a banda planeja lançar novos singles, clipes e conta com a parceria de grupos de
coco e artistas locais para esses projetos.
