Everything changes, so they say
Lot of good things been washed away
But steady is the river through a little small town
He's pulling in and she's running out

Old truck, young love
Front seat, back beat
Down the window and I turn it up
Full moon, half tank, low beams on the highway
It's your first kiss in a long gravel driveway
Steering wheel and a hand to hold
It's a story that'll never get old
Old truck, young love

Cherry red lips 'cross an old console
Falling too fast, driving real slow
It's taping her picture on the dashboard glass
That world's gonna spin but it always comes back

To an old truck, young love
Front seat, back beat
Down the window and I turn it up
Full moon, half tank, low beams on the highway
It's your first kiss in a long gravel driveway
Steering wheel and a hand to hold
It's a story that'll never get old
Old truck, young love
Yeah

Say hey baby what you saying?
I got a '96 Chevy and it's heading your way
Get to acting like way back when
Get to falling back in

Old truck, young love
Front seat, back beat
Your hair down, telling me turn it up
Full moon, half tank, low beams on the highway
Pretending your daddy's waiting on us in the driveway
Steering wheel and a hand to hold
That's the story that'll never get old
Old truck, young love
Old truck, young love
