Central Sistema de Som

A Central Sistema de Som é uma banda curitibana de groove autoral independente composta por artistas que transitam entre o popular e o underground. Com referências rítmicas como o funk dos anos 70, afrobeat, reggae roots, dub e a música popular brasileira, o grupo criou um estilo consistente que brotou dessa miscigenação.

Na ativa desde 2009, a Central também possui influências da cultura hip hop, que se traduz em seu estilo cosmopolita. Em 2016, lançou o Dvd Sete Bilhões de Vozes e, em 2018, o álbum Estamos em Groove, que traz uma pegada social, poética e direta. Com uma atitude provocativa, a banda propõe experiências sensoriais em seus shows, unindo música e video projeções.

Central Sistema de Som is a independent groove band from Curitiba-Pr, Brazil, composed of artists that bounce between the pop and the underground. With rhythmic references such as 70's funk music, afrobeat, reggae roots, dub and Mpb (Brazilian popular music), the group has developed an original and solid style of its own.

Active since 2009, Central also incorporates elements from the Hip hop culture, which is visible in their cosmopolitan ways. In 2006 they released in Youtube Sete Bilhões de Vozes (Seven Billion Voices) and, in 2018, the album Estamos em Groove (a word play with 'estamos em greve' (going on strike)), which has a social political, poetic vibe. With a provocative attitude, the band proposes a sensory experience during their concerts, bringing together music and Vjing.
