Halloween VII

I remember when I was but a boy
Halloween was the best time of the year
The crisp October air filled my lungs
as I danced across the crunching leaves
The [?] streets were illuminated by the [?] jack o' lanterns
We would run into friendly faces as we walked
All with their own stories to tell
And as we walked down that familiar street
We could do anything we wanted

Take your pictures in your clothes
with all your vampires and your ghosts
Hang up the flyers on the post
Then raise a chalice for a toast
Tonight, you can be whatever you want to be
And make them scream, and scream

Time of the witching hour
The orange sunset glows
the smell of bonfire fills my runny nose
Hold on to October
Falling leaves will guide you home
Smiling pumpkins make sure you are not alone

[?] of bodies fill the streets
Universal monsters, plain white sheets
All the witches and all the creeps
Get close to make their dead hearts beat
The moon will glow its rays of possibility
There's not a moment we'd forget

Time of the witching hour
The orange sunset glows
the smell of bonfire fills my runny nose
Hold on to October
Falling leaves will guide you home
Smiling pumpkins make sure you are not alone

You can be what you want to be
Explore every town
You can make yourself a star
You can get lost in the crowd
You can spend your nightly hours
like the sun will never sprout
Grab a mask and run away

Time of the witching hour
The orange sunset glows
the smell of bonfire fills my runny nose
Hold on to October
Falling leaves will guide you home
Smiling pumpkins make sure you are not alone

On Halloween
On Halloween
On Halloween

[?] one more house, I bet it's [?]
That house is terrifying! I bet they have great candy!
