Acid Tree

Brazilian prog-metal trio Acid Tree set out to create an intricate, textural and complex sonic fabric, igniting their tone with unpredictable arrangements, harmonic progressions and haunting atmospheres.

Recently, the band signed with Ms Metal Records for the release of their debut Ep, "Arkan". Mastered by The album features a collection of diverse and charismatic songs that highlight the band's experimental attitude and skillful songwriting.

The beautiful and meaningful artwork images was created by Scandinavian artist Niklas Sundin, known for his work with acts such as Dark Tranquility, Paradise Lost or In Flames, just to mention a few.

Acid Tree stand out for their larger-than-life guitar tones, sophisticated rhythm patterns as well as highly detailed production arrangements that echo the work of seminal bands such as Opeth, Porcupine Tree, or even Genesis or Gentle Giant - blending in classic progressive elements with contemporary heavy metal.

"Arkan" has already made waves throughout the local music scene, enjoying critical acclaim and many radio plays on the Brazilian airwaves, including airing one of the country's biggest rock radios, Kiss Fm.
